book picks up exactly where the first one finished. So you have to read
the first book there is no way about it. But it is worth it. Trust me.

Martinez gives us once again a beautiful story about loss and love the
right kind of love. I admit I liked the first one better although I’ve
rated them both with 5 Stars just liked the first one a smidgen more.
