Then his next assignment rolls in…

For his first official hit with the new job title, he’s ordered to kill animal activist Terra Bloom, daughter of David Bloom. Regardless of Seth’s guilt over killing her father, she’s just another target…or is she?

When a trained killer falls for his mark, he’ll use every resource to protect her—even if he’s deemed a Rogue Agent.
Even if I don’t read something that is straight up my alley. I’m happy that I find books that are different and that I might enjoy. Sometimes it backfires other times it doesn’t.
I got lucky with this one. I don’t really know how to categorize some books and this one is quite hard t. It could be romantic suspense but then there are other elements that move it into the sci-fi category. I love dystopian but romantic suspense? Not so much. For those of you who do read my reviews and if there is one thing that is hit & miss for me then it is romantic/suspense, the other one is young adult. But I won’t even open that can of worms.
Now my review.
It is the year 2048.
The Haroun group is there to cleanse society by ridding the world of the dregs of society or even if you have enough money to get rid of someone then they can do it. Seth Langdon is one of their best agents. For the past ten years he has killed about five thousand people. But one day after he talks to one of his kills something in him changes.
Terra Bloom’s father was murdered and she is out to find the murderer although they never really did get along well. The CEO Spencer Hack puts a hit out for Terra and it is up to Seth but plans change.
This is action packed and an exciting read that it is worth it and I would recommend it to you. Ms. Wallace has done a really good job. It is well written, engaging and sucks you into the book. She certainly kept me on my toes and I was finished with the book in no time.
Seth dude you were living in a fairytale when you thought that Trix was going to marry you, give you kids. She is a junkie and only wants her next fix. You should know better. I get that he felt something for Terra but Trix was still a lot in his mind maybe because he hadn’t had enough closure. I really didn’t see any chemistry between Trix and Seth. The chemistry with Terra was better.
Now this is just me but not once did Seth question why? Not once? Who, what, why and where? If someone tells you to jump off a cliff, do you? I bloody wouldn’t.
