Review :

I

seem to be developing a habit of reading series backwards lately… I guess it will happen again with the “The McKinney Brothers” series by Claudia Connor.

After I just finished “Worth It All” I placed the first two books on my TBR pile …
But actually that will be no big deal as “Worth It All” worked perfectly as a standalone.
I liked the plotline and the writing style of Ms. Connor.
There were some minor issues related to editing in the book that I feel were due to the fact that I was reading an advanced copy of it so I did not take those into consideration when rating the book.
The relationship between Jake/J.T and Paige developed at a steady pace that made relating to the characters easy. Both are very reluctant to enter a real meaningful relationship. Somehow though they cannot escape the pull the have on each other as their paths keep on crossing each other’s.
Well and the “push” they receive from their friends and family should not be underestimated.
In total this is a really sweet romance about forgiving yourself in order to move on.
And I can fully recommend it.
