This was one long arsed book and from those that I have read of the series so far it was my least favourite. I love how Ms. Beauman can take current events and truly make it in to a kick arse story. But the kick arse story didn’t help it along in any way whatsoever. 3 ‘barely, existing’ stars

Although saying that though (yes, I know that is a nice word for but) my eyes hurt from the last two books. I eye rolled a lot in this book. Too much for that matter. I don’t mind if there are moments of stupidity which is fine. Tough situation, nearly dying and all that and then you say I love my job, I love it.  Then spending a week in Alaska you realise it was all bollocks you tell your beau what you want right that moment. He wants it but not just straight away and then you back off after you gave him your v card and say No worries, Collin. I’ll just get an insemination donor” Excuse me? You can’t just pick that up at the super market.  But she is rich so I guess she can.

I was internally screaming with all the fucking Ly Ly’s I heard. I actually counted them altogether there were 119 in total her name was said over 900 times. It drove me up the bloody wall even now I could go apeshite on that. Although I did like this heroine more compared to some of the others as the others were all kamikaze.  She just rubbed me the wrong way and I can’t pinpoint it. Believe me I wish I could.

But luckily I love the Hero and like with the other books it was no different, okay Ethan did my nut in but not as bad as the other females in the book. So he is off the hook.

Collin Michaels, get me a fan ladies and pronto, is the real star of this book. He is strong, sweet, totally bad arse and believe me you want him in your corner. Hey I want him in my corner just because I like to think that I can. His luck in relationships hasn’t been that great but that can all change and it did.

The first 40 % of the book was engaging, full of sweet moments and a build-up of suspense but after that for the next 30 % it just dragged majorly.  I nearly fell asleep well after taking a break I actually did fall asleep. Not a good sign.

At the 70 % mark it picked up again and was once again engaging. I have to be honest though if I hadn’t received this book as a read to review copy I probably wouldn’t have been able to finish it.
