Midnight Valentine

True love never dies.

Megan and Cassidy were childhood sweethearts who thought they would be together forever. Fate had other plans. Soon after they were married, Cass’s life was tragically cut short. Still grieving her soul mate five years later, Megan moves to the small town of Seaside, Oregon, hoping to rebuild her life.

Her first night there, she meets the town recluse, Theo. Withdrawn, guarded, and mysteriously silent since a terrible accident left him scarred, Theo takes an instant and inexplicable dislike to Megan. But as their paths cross again and again, Megan becomes convinced there’s more to Theo than meets the eye. When she discovers the reason for his silence, his nightmares, and especially his pointed dislike, Megan becomes convinced of something far more astonishing.

Is a second chance at a once-in-a-lifetime love possible, or is a broken heart the cruelest kind of liar?

Dear Ms. Geissinger,

A few days have passed since I finished reading Midnight Valentine. And I really needed that time to gather my thoughts and feelings. Let me open with a “Thank you”  – from the bottom of my heart … THANK YOU FOR CHANGING YOUR MIND (I can only remember once when I told an author this before and the situation was very similar)… The other option you had was NO OPTION  – so please all artists freedom cast aside DON’T EVER DO THAT … no matter how much it tempts you DON’T … please pleas please…

Dear future Readers,

I will not say anything about the story itself because that simply should not be done and I hope that none of the other readers will do it.  Yea – you are guessing right – This is THAT kind of story … the one where you should go in blind. I admit I had my suspicions and I was proven right but that actually does not matter.

The one thing I might want to add is that you need to be open to certain views on life – but if you read the Blurb you should have a good guess what I am talking about. Just toy around with ideas OK?

If you read any other books of this author and because of the intensity I would like to mention “make me sin” in this reference, you know what kind of book you will get here. I had one or two of these “it’s hard to breath because my heart is beating so fast” moments here again.

JT Geissinger will present you with leading characters that are broken yet so strong that you can not help but route for them. I loved both characters so much that it was easy to get lost in the story and it hurt when I had to leave them. The story setting was created in such vivid details that it was easy to feel not only a close relation to the characters but also the surrounding.

So please be open to possibilities beyond what is assumed to be predictable or normal and I hope you love the story as much as I did.
