| While the novel is well written I could not help but feel that it is not really a standalone. To me it felt like there was more I should know about the characters. I can only assume that they where once at least secondary characters in another novel.
So to me they did not feel deep enough to be the leads in a christmas featured novel. But this is only my very personal oppinion and it might be totally different to other readers as the effect can be completely different if you already know the characters. But in any way this will not keep me away from trying another novel by this author if the blurb appeals to me 🙂
