Mason and Logan Kade are two brothers who did their own thing. They were rich and expected to attend her school, Fallen Crest Academy. They chose public school and now Samantha has to live with them. The problem is that she doesn’t care at all: about them, about her friends, about her cheating boyfriend, or even about her parent’s divorce. But maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe change is a good thing.

I love this Authors writing but in case of this book she really created a scary world of YA. I think it is as scary as any dytopian or horror novel, which is actually bad because I think it is supposed to be a romance. The world should be really afraid if this is even only real in parts. Everything is over the top in this book.

Character overload, Alcohol overload, Bullying overload, Sex overload (considering the age), violence between students, teacher & parents, scheming, fake friendships, eating disorders … I don’t think I can name everything that went through my mind. It felt like those complete alternate universe’s in the novels of Stephen King I used to read in the 1990’s

So we should really be afraid….

Anyway I still consider reading more because I want to know where the author is going. And while I was in parts shocked and repelled from the characters I still could not put the book down #intersting_stituation_indeed.
