Review : How would I describe “Beauty and The Boss” by Ashlyn Evers. I guess it is a grown up version of Beauty and the Beast but a very GROWN UP version … the kind that needs its readers to be over 18 years.

 

I guess that already tells enough about the story you need to know without giving away spoilers. Unfortunately this is not only a short story but a really SHORT short story – which means the reader should in no way even try to connect with the characters because there is not time to do so.

 

The plot idea was not a bad one and the writing was good, but I think even the author was surprised by how short the story really is because she tried to place some actual suspense inside which did not work out that well because the story was to short to elaborate.

 

Basically I would have needed more feeling besides the sex to establish a real connection to the characters – AND for the characters to develop a relationship with each other as well. So I am afraid that I’m unable to call it a love story and that is where it parts ways with Beauty and the Beast.

 

But what I can say that it is hot office sex and lots of it – if you like to see that (Ahm read about that) this is your story.
